We pray you are well and enjoying the many blessings of Allah (swt)
As you are aware, the pandemic has put additional challenges on washing and shrouding our dead. Below is an Egyptian Fatwa relating to the topic. MWAP is presenting this fatwa for your information. We strongly suggest you follow your personal school of law and local Islamic leaders for further clarification.

Fatwa
Regular wash unless told not to by health authorities. So if Allegheny county says no. For fear of spread of disease.
Then
Do Tayamum
Unless health authorities say no.
Then just burial shroud. No washing or Tayamum.
They emphasize to follow health authorities. If they don’t see any danger from corona then to do a proper wash.
